Waterfall Hike

When it comes to a cheap date, sometimes there is nothing more beautiful and cheap than Mother Nature!

At the top of my list is Chantry Flat; a 45 min hike that ends at connecting waterfalls, with pools of water perfect for swimming. This site has multiple hikes, but this one is the first small dirt path on the right as you come down the paved road after it winds hard to the right.

This scenic walk includes mountainside views, lush forest marsh, and tip-toeing over rocks to cross the streams. Eventually the forest leads onto a giant cliff, which provides lots of space to have a picnic, sun bathe, or if you're feeling risky, even jumping off the 50 foot drop into a cool pool of water below (when the water level permits, of course).
